The Manifesta 11 Lunch Break Sessions are events organised to feature informal discussions between Manifesta 11 team members and groups of students in higher education at numerous institutions in Zurich. Lunch Break Sessions with students will take place at the Institute of Art History at University of Zurich, at Zurich University of the Arts ZHdK, in the framework of the event series 'Science Trail' of the University of Zurich, the Master of History and Philosophy of Knowledge at Swiss Federal Institute of Technology Zurich and the MAS Arts Management at Zurich University of Applied Sciences. During the Lunch Break Sessions Manifesta 11 is introduced to give insights into the (conceptual) preparation, development and implementation of a large-scale international biennial. Discussion topics range from the organisational structure of the biennial and the curatorial team's concept development as well as artistic positions for new commissions.
